Welcome to Saint Johns Tennis Academy located at Mills Field Saint Johns Parks and Recreation. Our program has now adopted the USTA National standard of 10 & Under Tennis, an exciting new play format for kids. This format will enable your child to practice and play real tennis to scale and allows them to play and learn at the same time. Your child will learn footwork, proper stroke technique and grips for ground stroke, volley, serve and keep scoring no matter what level of play in all of our classes! We practice conditioning and stretching with our students and encourage good sportsmanship and proper court ettiquette. All our instructors are certified instructors/professionals thru the Professional Tennis Registry and USPTA.

We have available team play through the USTA JTT/NFPTA Team Tennis Challenges.  Ages 6-18 can learn the competitive side of tennis and create a team in order to play other kids in the Jacksonville area in Spring and Fall. We also guide you as parents and the players to participate in appropriate levels of local tennis tournament play when your child is ready to compete and take their tennis to a new level OR just keep it fun! We host two UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) events per month at Creekside High School on the weekends where 10 & older can compete in level based match play and earn their own ranking in tennis. We now offer both green dot ball division and yellow ball division of play within our UTR events. You can start your own profile for free at myutr.com and join our club Saint Johns Tennis Academy where you will be connected to get all our announcements for our events in UTR.

We offer ladies league play through the First Coast Tennis Association which practices and competes yearly September - May.  We currently field 4 ladies FCTA teams; 1 - A1 team, 1 - A2 team, 1 - B1 team and 1 - C1 team.

Most of all we are here to have fun and teach your child the love of tennis through our own passion in the sport of tennis.

Sincerely our staff Heather Diegan, Patrick Diegan, Javier Arias, Estella DePaula and Cheryl Moody at St. Johns Tennis Academy
